This warranty does not affect the normal legal rights of
the purchaser.
All
components are covered excluding the
following:
Engine:
Damage caused by
failure of cambelt (unless fitted by Halcyon Motors or verifiably fitted within
manufacturers recommended interval time/mileage) or neglect e.g. lack of oil or coolant, ignoring warning
signs etc.
Clutch:
Failure of clutch
through wear unless verifiably renewed within 100,000 miles
Brakes:
Pads, shoes. Also discs and drums unless verifiably
renewed within 30,000 miles/5 years.
Exhaust: Failure of any exhaust component
including turbo charger. Excludes
components not verifiably renewed within last 100,000 miles/5 years.
Electrical Components: Audio equipment
Others: CV
gaiters, wiper blades, bulbs, tyres, upholstery, rooflinings, paintwork. After market equipment i.e. not
originally fitted to the vehicle by the manufacturer.
Halcyon
Motors Ltd. will be responsible for the cost of any repairs to an upper limit
of £750 at the garage of Halcyon
Motors’ choosing (including
transportation of vehicle within the Dorset borders) with a maximum of three
claims within the warranty period. The
purchaser is responsible for the first £50
of any claim and must contact Halcyon Motors, if practically possible, at the
earliest opportunity and before any work is done; failure to do so will
invalidate any claim.
