Subaru Impreza
WRX 2.0 turbo AWD 4 door saloon Photos below – more to follow.
Date of Manufacture
MOT:
This car is showing 104,000
miles on the clock. As an import, the
mileage cannot be warranted but, if anything, the true figure is probably less
than this. As an import the first 50,000
“miles” (the approximate reading at import) would have actually
been kilometres so the actual mileage is probably around 84,000 miles. The car comes with comprehensive
The WRX is the stuff of legends and I am
sure you don’t need me to say much more about them. Suffice to say this one is very sound and
goes like the proverbial! In standard
spec the 2 litre turbo boxer engine provides about 250 bhp. This one has an induction kit and a dump
valve fitted which probably add a few more.
I am also told that the Japanese ones were more than 250bhp in standard
form. I actually sold this car in June last
year to a member of the Royal Signals White Helmets motorcycle display team who
are based in Blandford. He has been
delighted with it but had his heart stolen by a classic Escort so the WRX had
to go. I was more than happy to buy it
back!
It is the four door saloon with a decent size boot and
plenty of room for luggage and the spoiler!
It is finished in one of the best colours for a WRX (and BMWs and Rolls
Royces but only if you are getting married!) – white. It has power steering, 5 speed
gearbox, air conditioning (which works well), climate control, electric folding
mirrors and an excellent stereo radio CD player. It has remote
central locking with immobiliser and alarm (Thatch cat 1 I believe), electric
windows all round. It also has a tracker fitted – just in case
you lose it in the Tesco multi storey!
See below for the full spec.
The car is finished in plain
white paintwork and is virtually faultless cosmetically. There is a
small dent to the lower half of the nsr passenger door and one of the bumper spats is missing
– see pictures below. These
cosmetic issues should be sorted soon.
The wheels shown in the pictures have been replaced with the correct
wheels for a car of this age – 16” silver Subaru alloys.
Inside, it is trimmed in cloth
upholstery which again is in excellent condition although there is a little
wear showing to the outside of both front seats on the squab (base). The seats are a bit grubby in the
pictures but they will clean up well and this should also be done soon. In the pictures you will see the wind
deflectors fitted around the top of the windows on either side. These have been removed and it looks the
better for it. They have left slight
marks in the paintwork but not very noticeable.
The car has Subaru front carpet mats.
The car drives without fault and
will probably lead to me losing my licence if you don’t buy it
soon. As with all our cars, a full inspection is welcomed.
